Last night our Circle gained a new member! Long time member Mary was handfasted with a dear Circle friend and now member Alison.

Mary and Ali are both blessed Witches. They have amazing abilities. There was so much love and energy in our Circle that many of the digital photos captured orbs of energy/invited guests!

I have seen my share of weddings and handfastings, but the energy in this circle was extreme and beautiful. Please see our public photos! The orbs are not dust or reflections and they did not appear in any of the photos taken after circle!

Our Circle now extends from Missouri to Minnesota to Texas and then home to Colorado! Rowan has taught many students and we are begining to really and truly grow as a Witch's Circle of family and friends. I can not begin to express how much I love being a Witch who is part of such a positive, growing and loving Circle!

And now, thanks to Covenspace, I am able to reach out to my new friends in an electronic Circle. This will allow me to share insights, ideas, things that work, and things to avoid. I can answer questions from not so experienced Witches and help those who have need.

Dearest Family and Friends - my circle,

 

I am now 55 years old and I have lessons to teach and to share. Can you believe that the old Witch is a member of AARP?

 

Well, the years have come and gone while the wheel of life has turned on my watch. Listen my dears, for there is much to learn!

 

I have helped put mankind into space, robots on far away planets, aircraft in our skies and submarines in our seas. Yet, all of my accomplishments in the mundane, pale in light of my magickal accomplishments and failures.

 

Love is the ultimate magick given to us by our Deities and this view is, from the Autumn of my life, where the lessons are learned.

 

At the Spring of a person’s life, everything is easy. Life is centered on learning and growing. Here, parental guidance and familial values are paramount in our growth. For what you learn or fail to learn will follow you to the end of your days. Your family and its circle will teach all that you carry forward.

 

In the Summer of our lives we have become adults. We marry or form unions and perhaps have our children. These are the fruits of our creation. Here we choose and here we show love, and tenderness or create heartache and give rise to pain. This is when we sow the seeds of happiness or regret. Much of what we do in our Summer is impacted by our Springtime, yet lessons not learned are no excuse, for ultimately we choose our paths.

 

In our Autumn the fullness of our lives comes into full view. Could we have been kinder or gentler? Perhaps, yet we cannot go back. Summer is gone and the wheel of life moves in only one direction.

 

What is our obligation to our families? What is our obligation to our friends, our loved ones, our children, our grand children and the very earth upon which we all depend? What is our obligation to our Deities?

 

From a Wiccan in the Autumn of his years, I can tell you. Our Deities wish us to harm none, and to preserve our home this garden earth. We are asked to practice our Craft with perfect love and perfect trust.

 

Exactly what does this mean to a person consumed with the pressures of high school, college or a career and family? The answer is surprisingly simple.

 

We must be kind, and we must love. Embrace those who are not in with the high and mighties. Be kind to your lovers. Love and respect your parents and siblings. Always be forgiving and understanding. If someone has caused hurt, look beyond to the future. Never be the cause for someone else to be injured for you become owner, of your half, of every scar created.

 

Never cause harm to anyone. For if you do you will surely have the regret of your actions haunt the Autumn of your life.  For it is here that the balance of what has been done and not done is formulated. Regrets haunt the Autumn Wynd with a cold chill while smiles bring cascades of beautiful colored leaves.

 

Be as close to your children, siblings and parents as possible. This means stay physically close and emotionally connected. Grow in your love with everyone. My single, greatest regret is letting my career put distance between me, and my loved ones. Yet I celebrate those close loving relationships that have survived the miles between us!

 

If your Autumn Wynds blow cold you must do all you can do set the wrongs right. Reach out to the circle of your life and make it right.

 

When the Winter of life arrives it is too late. Your deities will not be forgiving, as we own every day of our lives. These days are a gift of the Gods and we may use or abuse these gifts as we like. However, we must live and die with the consequences of our choices and actions.

 

So, my family and friends, know that you are truly loved. If I have caused harm, please talk to me, let us make it right. I have been wrong, I have been in error, and I have been a fool. I tell you truly, I regret my mistakes. However, I celebrate the smiles I have known and those, which I have left behind.

 

What I take forward into the silver Winter of my life is happiness and love for you all. I am at peace and I know that the scales of my life are basically level and balanced. I know that you are all strong and intelligent people who are making your dreams your reality. The Gods smile on you and yours and this brings me much happiness.

Hale and Welcome!

What a wonderful surprise to find Covenspace. The times are changing and everyone is coming out of the Broom Closet! Blessed be!

I am called Stormy and I am an Eclectic Wiccan. I come from an Episcopal background. In fact it was studies in Theology, with a great Priest, plus the influence of my Witchy daughters that brought me to The Craft.

I have read so many of the writings from Covenspace Witches, old and young. What a diverse Circle of Witches. It's great to read about your experiences and ideas. You guys definitely rock.

So, what do I intend to do with this gift of a virtual altar? I'll read and I'll write. I'll suggest and absorb. I hope to teach and learn and share.
